Painting your home can be a daunting task. It is time-consuming and often frustrating if you don’t know what you’re doing. Make a list of how much paint and primer you’ll need for each room or wall before beginning, then get everything at once rather than running out halfway through your task and having to wait again while more supplies are sent from afar. You’ll need to know what you plan on painting, as well as whether or not those walls have been painted before.
If the wall has never been painted, it will likely soak up much more paint than if it has already been covered with a fresh coat so be prepared for this. The best way to ensure correct measurements is to mark out your entire space with tape, then measure each strip of tape after being placed. Make sure that all measurements are exact!
Remove all furniture from the room to keep it clean and safe

When using painter’s tape, make sure to press it firmly onto the surface so that the adhesive wraps around the edges.
Always use a quality brush for smoother coverage and less mess –
Quality brushes are a must for good makeup application and less mess. The bristles of the brush should be synthetic or natural, but not too dense to avoid clumping. Brushes that have been previously used should be cleaned before using them again with another product because bacteria can build up in the bristles over time. When cleaning old brushes use shampoo and hot water, then rinse thoroughly until all traces of soap are gone. The drawback is that it can take a long time to use an appliance like this to dry each section of the wall, so you’ll want to put your hairdryer to good use for this task during the early stages of painting when you can’t get full coverage in your room anyway.
